Some authentic (meaning not something that you could order at Taco Bell and something that you have researched and can discuss it's significance or use in the hispanic culture) hispanic food made at home and brought in with:
1. A copy of the recipe (must be brought in to me for pre-approval and then turned in with the final project)
2. A sampling for all students in the class
3. Be prepared to share with the class completely in Spanish the type of food, it's
origin, it's significance in the culture, and what you learned from this project.
4. A written note from a parent that you did this project all by
yourself.
REMINDER: The extra credit will not be added into your grade until the end of the semester and the maximum extra credit allowable per semester is 50 points from some combination of the above three options. Remember the deadlines (Jan. 7 and May 22). Have fun!
